I was up at 5:30am this morning started setting up to start cooking breackfast at 7:30am this morning for a LIONS Breakfast, biscuts and Gravy,eggs, pancakes, coffee, and OJ.This is a free will Donation breakfast, we made $350.00 Dollers on that one. Then we cleaned up from that and started our lunch. Beer batter Fish fry,Frinch frys, bake'd potato, cole slaw,ice tea,coffee,limon aid. All you can eat $6.00 Adults
and $3.00 12 years and under. Whin I left the chairs were full 200 chairs I do not know what
the grand total take was on that They started servig at 4:00 pm,I left, I am tired it is time to slow down. just letting you know where I was If any one care's.50% of the funds will go to
eye glass' or hearing aid's for kids that can aford them.OK time to read the YT POST"S.

Had our Son's of the American Legion fish fry the end of January and the pancake/sausage breakfast last weekend. Around 250 for both of them - not bad for a small community. Free will donations have always worked the best for us - money goes to local scholarships and sports programs.

Know what you mean after 5-6 hours of work at one of those. Course we always have a little high jinx after both of them!
 
Explain the" eye glass and hearing aids" again if you will.
I don't suppose you mean if children can't afford them they remain partially deaf/blind.
 
Im a few minutes I will be going to a LIONS breakfast at the Altenburg, Missouri Club. Maybe they will make enough to buy some glasses for some kid who has parents who cannot/will not buy the glasses. Kind of irks me to see kids needing glasses and have the parents with a BOAT in the yard, but the kids did not buy the boat. Some parents have a warped priority but glad we can help the kids. NO if a child is in need of eye glass's or a hearing and has been tested by the school and the childs Parents do not have the fund's or can pay for them, then our LIONS CLUB ether help pay for them or pay for them all together. That is what our LIONS CLUB dose for our community. We all so
sponcer other things,like hollween parties, christmas parties, little leg, giril scouts, boy scouts, just name a few. We are a very busy club.

How you did? I am going to get my mower out today
and practice, mowing. I have just a little bit of white Grass on the ground I am thinking I should mow that befor the green stuff comes back, What do you think.
