I'm having a problem finding NON-synthetic 2 cycle motor oil..Found lots of synthetics but nothing that is a mineral based oil without synthetics....I've heard that synthetic should not be used in the fuel system for some reason..I need this for my "Army Brat" M-1008 military pickup truck fuel system..I have used Stanadyne and other additives available but these are pretty pricey compared to 2 cycle oils...Anyone know of a brand name that is pure mineral oil ?? Thanks Roy

Just bought a case of pennzoil that the parts store on post had in the back corner of the stock room because they joined the synthetic generation..........

99% of all "so called" synthetic oil today isn't true synthetic anyway. It comes from oil/tar sands and oil shale deposits. I have no idea how they are able to use this term because the other fuels from the same deposits aren't synthetic. Ask Canadian SynCrude.........

Old 2 stroke cycles and outboards had oil use crossreferences in manuals- my old Suzuki premix had suggest use of 30 weight nondetergent low ash- the IHC was perfect crossmatch. John Deere dealer with old letter series customers usually has it in 20 and 30 weight. RN

I don't remember where I heard this..But they were very adament about using a pure mineral oil and not a synthetic....That sort of spooked me..
