I hear a lot of "how is it worth?"comments.every area andsituation are different.what matters is,are both partys comfortable and happy with the price?if so,then the price was fair.share your thoughts.thanks

Agreed, at the end of the day, the value is only what 2 people can agree on. Seen that question asked here literally hundreds of times over the years. I"ve bought and sold several hundred tractors over the years and still dont really feel like I know values. The only 2 value numbers that matter are what it is worth to the seller and the buyer. If the numbers are somewhat close, perhaps the deal can be done. If not, there is no sense in trying to make a deal. Only thing can come from that is hurt feelings. What I find intersting are the "What should I offer" posts and the subsequent replies. Always easier to spend another persons money than your own. And it is always intersting to see how easy it is for someone to send another off to insult a seller. And then we always have our share of the ones that are one what I call "fishing trips".....the one that method to let other know they have one for sale.

It cost me $250k to build my home in 2000, the township said (3 years ago) that it is worth $270k. Now the township says it is worth $198k. My taxes dropped 14% last year and then another 16% this year. Yippie!!!!!

I doubt I could get $200k for my place in the current market conditions of Michigan.

A classic case of what is someone willing to pay for a home/car/truck/tractor/tool.
