there was a post several weeks ago, and if i remember, the tractor was never overhauld before it was painted.

take a hike on the DAYTONA IDEA b/s ... Today I saw a Deere garden tractor commercial showing a yuppi . proclaiming , "when i CAME HERE THIS YARD WAS A CORNFIELD ". BIG DEAL , it sure is not an improvement , just a SICK testiment to STUPID urban SPRAWL ..Just shows The disrespect that deere has for the Great American Farmer that made deere RICH ... turn all American cornfields into yuppi yards , buy your food from your enemies , and all yuppis should buy a Japanese powered deere tractor that will last 1200 hours WOW ! B/S !!!. My 4020 and DC Case clocked 6 times that many hours happily providing food and fiber for these misaligned liberals..... as for the poor bucthered 4020 , it ought to be split down the middle and shoved up deere and foose a-- ....the 4020 and Many other Fine colors American farm tractors , is as legendary to American AGRICULTURE , As the B-17 FlyingFortress was to winning W W 2... TRACTORS ARE NOT INTENDED TO RACE . Thats IT!, PERIOD !!! ,.. not even by foose who i believe is a addict of some sort .,, if deere paid him , i wish they would had given foosemoney to everyone in lower prices ...DEERE FOOsLishly spent a wad of cash ... my rant , budwieser induced ....

I saw what was left of that tractor...interesting design but did they have to take a real tractor to do it? Why didn"t Deere pony up one of its new tractors since this guy made all the sheet for for the dishonor?

Here's a link to an article on the 4020. Chip says all modifications to the 4020 are bolt on and the tractor could be returned to the field in a day. So Deere nuts don't get your undies in a knot the tractor was not destroyed just altered to try to make better use of an undesirable machine.
