I took this picture several years ago somewhere between Ft. Worth and Childress, TX along U S 287. I'm assuming it is a Farmall F- series. Can anyone pin it down for me. Thanks. C.L.

Did the Regular and F20 have the same size wheels, and the F30 have taller ones, or could you get taller ones on the F20?

What we call a regular but the term regular did not orignate till several years later when people were trying to designate between them and the F-20 and F-30 series. The tractor was just called Farmall as it was the only model made at that time and it predated the F-20 with the F-20 it successor. Would it have been in an area with sandy ground as those rear wheels are what in places are called a sand wheel.

This tractor sits at the intersection of Hwy. 287 and FM 730 on a Shell Station lot in Decatur TX.

Yes. regulars were made 1923 till 1931. the original Farmall.... the onethat everyone else copied.

OK, I thought it was east of Wichita Falls, but I wasn't sure where I took the pictures. We had stopped for fuel, and I would have guessed at a Shell station. It was in 2004, if I remember correctly.
