I got mine in 1999 for 5000.00 cdn. It's a 263 with all the original options and has lasted well until the fall. All I would use it for is cutting the pasture and blowing snow. I just always liked the look of that style. Now I'm just trying to get it going and have been using a Maxxum 110 to clean the laneway.

You must be Canadian.Iam from Colorado.what year? How long has it been down? What is wrong with it? Pd $2875for mine and $210for a #'314'plow(3bottom rollover fasthitch)Was my big horse till 2000 when Ibought my 1256. Tractor and plow have been together since new,I am 2nd owner of both. plow is now semiretired. The "7"is used regularly.

another thing.it hard to shift.repaired it 3 times. finally ghanged over 56 series shifters. shifts LOTS better.

The machine is 66 and I am indeed a Canadian. I live in sw ontario abot an hour from the US. September was when I started having problems. The main one is that it blows fire out the exhaust after about 10 minutes running. The exhaust manifold is now cracked and I'm starting to access what it's going to take to get this thing back in good shape. The big problem here is getting parts at a realistic price. Most places bring them up from the US and mark them up so much it gets pointless. Even the scrappers want a ton. Example front weights $140.00 each. I just want my tractor to run nice again.

I hope you can get it repaired. They are good tractors,I sure like mine.GOOD LUCK!keep me informed.Steve
