Got my first baby the other day, he could have waited a week or two but he is doing great, now I suppose the next one will come in a snow storm! The old dog Sneakers has to great all the new ones!

Red angus father, mixed breed mother but mostly milking shorthorn and Hereford.
Heres a pic of momma and its tractor related too. The Allis Wd45 rear tire is in the picture!

I take it your dog likes beef.... you'd better get him to wait a bit. Ha ha.

Don't know if spring has spring but the deer were out in force this morning and tagged one with my daughters nearly perfect (was)1991 New Yorker. Then 30 miles later more deer were running across the road.

all sorts of indications that spring is near in nw alabama, bradford pears nearing bloom stage, buttercups are blooming and perhaps the greatest indication, male spring peepers (small tree frogs) are calling for mates at night. like most, i am ready.

Nice looking little calf there. Weather has been just great for calving, we have 15 so far, and I'm hoping a few more will come in this week with the forecast as nice as it is.
