so kruser and i got ta talking over some barley pops and decided to show ya the right way to load tires and put er to rest once and for all!!!!
billonthe farm was absent from this super secret mens club excursion, so he's on double secret probation. wrigley is excluded

step one
pick up tire. you can do it by hand, but a wrecker is a lot handier

step two

put tires on trailer. kruser is on right, smilin john our assistant is on the left

step three.

lay tires flat on trailer. jump up and down on them to be sure they stick good, so you dont need to strap em down. i'm on the left. i think them tires make my butt look fat.

i still miss my twin boom Holmes but the Mahindra does everything i need to do these days.

Got a 5 ton overhead crane in the shop, does pretty well. Especially when you're pulling 20-ply 30.5-32's mounted on reinforced forestry rims off a Cat 525 skidder. Maybe next time I have to do it I'll get some pics.

Story of my life, wasnt even there and got in hot water. Them darn cows get me in more trouble......
Seems to me like a job of that size should require a handyman jack and some cinder blocks.
Travis is our saftey man so we should check with him on your whether you did it right or not.
It was the nicest day we have had in a very long time wasnt it?
Glad you boys had fun!

Don't know that the tires make your butt look fat but couldn't figure out why you couldn't get your coat zipped!

Better picture of the glennster - after a hard day of work!
Sure was nice to meet up with him. Ya'll talk nice to him and you MIGHT get invited the "secret meetings"!

Wrecker, loader, crane... Heck, Anything that takes the Physical out of the labor. For duals I prefer to move them around with the loader myself, but that's what we got handy. Overhead cranes are prefered inside a shop, but we don't have an "indoor" shop...

Yeah Bill:
Handyman jack was in the back of the truck and had 4X4's instead of block - wrecker works a lot better though. Prolly gonna cost a lot to have it come down to get them heavy suckers off! Glennster did mention something about wanting to see a newer IH in the Farmington area.

PS: Don't tell Travis but my boots aren't steeltoe!

bill, kruser and i are gonna plan a road trip to come down and have secret mens club meetings at yer place too. wrigley texted kruser and is working out all the details. wrigley said something about going to Big Al's in peoria, said it was yer favrite hang out. hmmmm must have good food there or something.

Heck I dont know if I could find the place but it seems like everyone from out of town knows about it. According to the paper they moved, or maybe they are going to. Its more than five miles from home so its out of my travel area. I have heard the food is good, err something like that.
