Well the boy will be coming home for leave around the 10th of March and has a standing order for my secret recipe lasagna. It takes me a week off cooking just for the sauce for it. No I'll not be standing there for a week. I cook it for that long adjusting the taste as needed. One of his best friends will be making sure I have the cash to get all the stuff. Last time I made a batch of it, it cost over $100 for every thing but I do also make about 7 pans of it and those are big 9X13 pans that are 2 inches deep. Oh well at least it lasts a long time and we freeze what doesn't get ate. Oh the last time I made it I used 10 different cheeses in it

Sounds Good. How about sending me one of those 9x13 pans of Lasagna. I'll send you some NM grown pistacios in trade.

Know all about the secret family recipe as the same thing is on for next weekend . and since i am married to a good not so little Mediterranean Irish girl and her grand parents No ah speak ah the English not so good , yep know all about the cost of making the sauce . as the cheese has to come from the old country along with the herbs and spices and around here that means a 35 min drive to get them . and i wonder why i have put on 40 extra pounds in 35 years.

Ya it is so secret it has never been written down on paper. Ya it is one I made up from many years of practice. My mom and wife both say I should write it down so maybe after I'm dead and gone my family could still make it as in my daughter and grand kids etc. Oh and ya you can not walk away from the table hungry if you eat this stuff but you might walk away with a few extra pounds added to you

If I had a secret like that, it wouldn't be for long. Because my curious wife would be right there taking it all in. But no problem here. The day I will accomplish that, will be the day she's in the shop trying to twist wrenches with her 110 or so pounds!

Hey Rich:
Larry got me thinking. If I take the night shift, can I have some?
What the heck, friend just got back from "hog" hunting in Texas and this is closer for me.
Might even bring the glennster as backup.

As I said to some one else all you have to do is be here at the right time and your welcome to a plate full or is that a belly full oh by the way it is very filling and does add the weight if eaten. And just think how the house smells by the 5th day of letting the sauce simmer
