Headed to DesMoines for National Pheasant Fest ! First time going , should be good time . Anyone else headed that way ?

I have been to the past four Pheasant fests (I am a life member of PF). They have always been fun, but we decided to stay away this year (last year was a little disapointing). I'm going to wait for the 30th anniversary one.

You should have a good time though, there's usually plenty to see and do.

Whats a pheasant fest?
Used to be loaded with them here in ny,no more though.No more habitat for them anymore with all the farms gone.Did bring the turkeys back though.Goverment says they will pay people to grow "switch grass"What is that anyways?They say thats why theres no more pheasants because no switch grass.
