Had a pair here a week and half ago in western, Ohio. Went out last Wednesday and one had frozen by the shop door. Other one was still flying around, but haven't seen it lately, so probably met the same fate.... Gene

Nahh. Those honey bees will come out on a warm day to relieve themselves of, well, waste products that they've been storing up when it was too cold to get out of the cluster in their colony. When it gets cooler, they'll head home to tank up and warm up. Also they'll be out foraging for pollen sources to feed to their brood. Every spring we've got a bunch buzzing around our bulk feed until the willows start blossoming.
