Welcome, what crops or livestock do you raise out there. Here in NEIA I farm corn, soybeans hay, cattle, and hogs. I have a 5288 806D M CAse VAC and Minn. Moline Jet STar.

Here inthe Uncompahgre(ute indian word)Valley,we sit at 5000to6000 ft.elevation.Weonly recieve about 6" rain Annually,EVERYTHING is ,irrigated.the area raises lots of corn,hay,pinto beans,some onions,small grain,OLATHEsweet corn.Also,lotsof cattle,few hogs.A large California corp.has 15 chicken "ranches" in the area,our biggest grain buyer(the only game in town).I raise corn and hay,no livestalk.WE doCostom work and do repair work(specelize IH) and welding services.Iam 53 yearsold,married 24yrs,have one son in the US navy .

Welcome Deltared. I don't farm anymore, just work on tractors.(John Deere). Lotta great guys on here and an occasional hot head, but it's a lot of fun. rw
 
Welcome. I live in NW Illinois. Work in town and farm 65 acres that we bought from my Aunts and Mom after grandparents passed away. Raise corn and soybeans, 2-Oliver 1850 diesels, IH 400 and JD 70. I was out that way a couple years ago and you"re right about not much out that way heading to Utah never seen so many fires in my life but Colorado is still one of my favorite places to visit. Welcome aboard and put on your boots cause it can get deep here sometimes. LOL
