nice tractors. My father in law said the other day, the first tractor they had on the farm was a Oliver 70 Had to wait to get it because of the war.

Anybody know what the lever on the right side of the 550 is? Comes out just ahead of the brake pedals. Looks like a PTO lever, but what's it doing way up there?

That"s the PTO lever. There were several positions for the PTO lever on those tractors and that is one of them.
