OT/just what is the price

Roughly what is the producer pay price of milk now anyway? The crawl at the bottom of the screen on Ag Day says around $14.30 some days,around $12.85 others. I know it's not jumping around that much.
 
It is not any different than the rest of us grubbers, just enough to make you think you can make money when you work your fool a$$ off, and in reality just enough to get by.
 
Just talked to about the best dairyman I know this morning- said he has been in the black the last 2 months, after many months of red ink. He's not giving up, at least at this point.
 
That is sure not a fair price, now please don't think that Im bragging cause I am not Im just going to give you the price I received in my last cheque. We milk Jerseys and our average BF for Jan. was 5.6 and we where paid $97.82 @ hundred litres .That would work out to about $45.00 per hundred lbs in US funds . Milk quota sucks to buy but, getting a decent return takes some of the pain away. I understood the US price was rebounding back to $18.00 range come March , Hope you all can hold on.

Thanks,just wondered. Can't trust the crawl on the screen on Ag Day for nothing I guess. Just got the check for a load of fat steers from Mondays sale. Price was pretty decent for them for a change too. Biggest check for a load that size that I've seen in two years.
