First day of Spring??

Well I hope it is not true but I just looked on all my calenders and guess what they have no date for the first day of spring. Does this mean we will not have spring this year?? Oh by the way I was afraid to look to see if they have summer listed on them.
So then what is the first day of Spring. I was thinking it should be March 20th or 21st but since as I said I do not see it what is it and how many more days of winter do we have??
 
Mine says the 20th. I'm not holding my breath for spring WEATHER by then. Last year,we got a break in early April. I got my oats in before Easter,then winter came back til Mothers Day.
 
Its a hole in the side of a hill that has water flowing out of it LOL. Also a lot of times that water is better for you to drink then what most city's have coming out of the taps
 
It"s still February here...Spring never obeys the calendar. March is a wet, snowy, sloppy month. Sometime in April...that"s more like it.
 
We've got snow on the ground, but I moved sum snow to dig a hole today and have easter lilly's and tulips 2 inches high. Got to looking and there are buds starting on the hedge and the cherry tree is looking a little lively........
Horses are shedding also.

What is it about to the point that you have to go buy new shoes every time you go out side because the mud has sucked another pair right off you feet
 
Next thing you know, we will be praying for rain and cool weather. Remember last year, we started having temperatures over 100* in mid may. El Nino usually means a wet spring for this area, but who knows anymore.
 
I sure hope it hurrys' up, my wood is getting slim, and there's to much snow to get any more out right now!!

Come on spring
