Soil Sampling Made Easy

We decided to go "high tech" this year and bought a soil probe.

Sure made Nancy's work a lot easier a couple of weekends ago.

Since the soil probe made taking samples much easier, she got twice as many samples as before.

We got the soil test back last week and have made progress on the mineral percentages.

Nancy talked with our local Ag Extension Agent last week about the next fertilizer mix and application timing.

We decided to give "Rusty" and "Sam" our 51MTs a little work transporting the soil probe and the blue bucket.

Y'all hang in there; Spring is coming!

Nancy and I went to a seminar back in January to maintain our Texas Applicator's License.

During one of the presentations the soil probe was discussed, so we decided to "spring" for one this year.

You sure did a good job scooping the snow out of the way, hardly see any. Did it take a sledge to get the probe through the frost like it would here?
