96 F-350 diesel

A neighbor of mine has one and it is running on the 4 left cylinders you can unplug the right side and no change new gaskets and both pig tails look great Any ideas??

The injector driver modgule may have failed. One on my 97 got water in it and burned it out. It is mounted on the drivers side on the inside fender. DH

that is what we were thinking and afraid of they are very costly were looking for a few other ideas but I think this is the problem also

Hello Roy,
That is a poor location for a very expensive box.
I THINK YOU ARE CORRECT SUSPECTING THE PROBLEM IS THERE.
DOUBLE CHECK ALL THE CONNECTIONS AND THEIR MATING SURFACES, BEFOR YOU BUY, YOU MAY GET LUCKY. Take a good look at the side that is not
firing inside the valve cover, any short to ground will fry the box. AGAIN!
I would MAKE some kind of cover to keep that box dry also.

I found mine on Ebay for $120.00 out of a 99 van from the Virgin Islands. Took a chance and has been running for three years plus now. Ford wanted $800.00 for it. Just make sure the numbers are the same. DH

Hello Roy,
I have seen new boxes go puff for a simple shorted harness inside the valve cover.
