OT propane to gas conversion

Awhile ago I saw a website that would calculate the amount of gas or fuel oil or wood you would use if you entered the amount of whatever fuel you currently using. I have propane now and may finally get hooked to the natural gas line that runs across my place, I am trying to figure what the savings will be. I think it was an outdoor wood burner web site. Do any of you guys know where I might find this?

Thanks a lot,
Mike

I found a site that had all that info recently when I was looking for information on BTU's of wood. I use Google search so you should be able to find it. You will like natural gas, we pay about half the cost of propane per BTU.

Right now is the perfect storm. I mean natural is fairly low, propane middle market price. This fall natural was $.47 / Therm or 100000 Btu. Propane was about $1.30 / Gal. or 91,800 Btu. You get about a 8% savings on natural if they were the same cost per unit. Research what the rates or tariffs are with your natural gas company. Also if you being fed from a high pressure line accros your land, be sure to ask it they will be charging for the regulator station that may be required. Hope this helps.
