OT. Olympic womens hockey, small town pride.

My little town of 1000 people is pretty wound up these days, one of our native daughters, and a friend of mine is playing in her second Olympics. She plays defense for the womens national team and they are amazing to watch, they play at 2:30 Pacific time today. I believe they will be shown on MSNBC. They crushed China and Russia and now are playing Finland. Very fun to watch!!!! GO USA!!! Rooting for Molly Engstrom #9
 
Great to hear those "grass roots" stories- That's what it should be all about.

Now think real hard. What country do you think stands in their way. Hint, there's a lot of small town girls on that team as well!
 
I love all hockey and it's great to see those girls succeed, BUT when you're waiting to watch the Swedes men take on Slovakia, and the girls game has to get over with first, and the score is 13 to nothing after the second period, I vote for a mercy rule. But really, they're all fun to watch!
 
Got nothing against the Canadian team they are great, should be a super game should they meet. I like my northern neihbors, and am rooting for them til they meet our girls!!!
