Most of ya'll have seen my posts about how much rain we've gotten this fall and winter.

Got the results on our soil sample so I called up our ag agent this morning and got the fertilizer schedule planned out for the hayfield.

He cautioned that there may be damage to bermuda hay fields this year because of all the rain. He said the ground has been saturated with water so long that roots may be damaged. Said we won't know until May/June when the grass gets up good.

Not what I wanted to hear.

Ship some of that rain north up hiway 35 about 2 days. I will take all you can send, we are getting better up here but still really hurting for moisture!! Drought monitor still puts us in severe hydrological drought. All the lakes and rivers are way down.
