Had a guy stop to get a few bales of hay today and heard some geese. Looked up and saw a flock flying sort of west then back north. Not sure if they where lost or what since they didn't seem to know which way to go west or north but at least they isn't flying south so guess that is maybe a good sign of things to come I hope

probably because there is no snow in the north, (hince the olympic games) maybe they shouldve held the winter games in tx this year

Well that would be hard to do I don't have any anti aircraft guns at this time LOL. And I don't think my 12 gauge would shoot that far up

Old, I Live about 100 miles east of you and geese stay in this area as long as they can find open water. If it gets cold enough for everything to freeze over they move a little south then come back just as soon as ice leaves. They frequently move back and forth 2 or 3 times in a winter. You may be seeing the same thing.

Heck we got 3 inches of snow last night and it"s still below freezing around ehre but I"ve already seen robins, wrens, and lizzards running around outside......guess with this crazy weather even they don"t know what season it is....

He cant hit a coon 6 ft. away with its head in the cat food bowl , dont think he s gona hit a goose !!

Haven't seen any geese, but our mares are starting to shed like fools. By past years' experience, spring is real close. Our version of the Robins are getting pretty flirty too.
