My little te 20 got noticed when I posted a pic somewhere so a fellow from britain asked me some details and pics for a story in the engineers blog. He gets the story details somewhat turned about but the guts are there

thanks for the comment. the kids know every time the car comes out, it burgers or ice cream or both. think that is why they love the car too.

yes those zoomie pipes are so loud I wear ear plugs and ear muffs.

The percussion from them feels like someone is punching you right in the forehead. Thats why I built the sprint car pipes you see in the second pic with the mufflers. Much quieter. You can hear the blower better.

I spent a whole bunch of time building the zoomies and I rarely have them on. Usually just run the sprint car headers.

I was featured in Tractor Shop magazine a few years ago with my 1600. Was a pretty nice article, and they sent me a bunch of free copies to give to some family members and I had 2 copies canabolized to be framed (4 page article).

We have the largest tractor show in the UK here at Newark and i am one of the orgernisers. This last year i put on a large display of IH tractors so thy put a photo of my 1940 Farmall BN tractor on the front cover of the catolog. MJ

I like the fellas rod he had on cause I'm car nuts too. My baby is my self resto'd 67 turbine bronze 67 charger. The 383 got taken out and stored, but apart from the running gear and some stiffening its all back to showroom. Sports a very well built 440 now, 6 cylinder torsion bars,connecting frame rails and Hoosier quik time pros and 3;91 gears.Its kinda neat cause its totally optionless, not a radio, not a console, just 2 feet of stick out of the floor. I suspect it 1/4 mi times are better than I can do that long stick through yet I wanta keep it like that cause its orig and it darn near frightens onlookers. When junior pulls beside you in daddy's 302 mustang and you give the ol girl second gear,3 g's on the tach and drop the hammer and the hood lifts about 10" and your sitting at the next light and he's ten car lengths back,,,IT'S SWEET!!!!!!!!!!!!!. I'm building a 69 black with red interior (ground up)impala,but with an auto and only bout 480 HP hitting the pavement through 373 gears just for sunday drivin. Leave the charger for punk killin
