Tractor quick hitches - any comments on this brand?

Im considering to purchase one of these unit listed at web site, it goes on the bottom 2 3pth links any one else use these, are they any good?

my other option is the standerd 3pth quick hitch that you need to refit all your equipment up to such as JD's I-match system.

What do these things cost (CatI)? I was looking for removeable ones and gave up and got the quick hitch from Harbor Freight, Had to modify a couple attachments, but it works fine. The ones like in your site, I found as weld ons for a whole bunch of money. To answer your "are they any good" question, It's hard to find a tractor with Cat II or larger here without that type hitch.

I bought one of those about a year ago. Best dicision I ever made. Can"t beat the price for a quality quick hitch. Makes hooking up the equipment a breeze. I don"t mind hooking up the top link, it was never that hard to do.
It will add about 3 inches of length to your lower lift arms, so your top link may not be long enough. I was lucky. Mine had enough run out for the extra length.

I've got a quik-hitch from Harbor Freight. It's cost $69.95 and pulls box blade,6ft mower & 6 ft roto-tiller no problem on a 50 hp tractor. It's Cat 1 but you need Cat 1-2 bushing because slot is too large.

Just a word of caution to everyone. Make sure you have plenty of length left in your top link for implement adjustment afterward.

I bought a tractor years ago that came with a top link that was just a little too short. About a year after I bought it, I was using a weighted back blade and decided that it needed just a little more adjustment. I lowered the blade almost to the ground, got off the tractor, and started to let out a little more length on the top link. But before I knew it, it came apart and pinned my leg against the back tire, breaking it above the ankle.

My wife happened to hear my yelling and got my son next door, who fortunately happened to be home at the time, to pull the blade off me. Needless to say, I'll never do that again. But as they say hindsight is 20/20.

And here I thought I was the only one that did that. Left ankle broke in two place and had to have two pins put in to fix it.
