1948 Cockshutt tractor

I have found a 1948 Cockshutt 30 HP tractor that is in excellent shape. good metal , good tires , runs great, I would like some Ideas on what this tractor is worth from some folks up north. Not up on this tractor down south. thanks, golfcartman

I assume you are talking about a Cockshutt 30.What it is worth is what you are willing to pay and what the owner will let it go for. Condition and location means a lot.Is it a wide front or narrow front? Does it have a PTO and Hydraulics? Are you going to show it or use it? 30's are not all that rare and can be bought in about any condition or price range. I know I couldn't get it, but I wouldn't take $6000.00 for mine.

nice looking tractor. dont blame ya for not wanting to part with it. looking for something older like that to restore. got a 1550 i use for feeding and farming with ease on loader but hard to do without it to completely restore.

My Book shows average auction $1000. You have to adjust for variance from average which sounds like upwards in your case. Tires are of course a big factor now.
