The Foose rendition of the 4020 is now on the JD website. It's about what I expected. Excuse me while I go vomit.

If it annoys you, why go there?

Love him or hate him, it would appear Foose hase a good time and prolly more money than me, or even YOU!

Are 'ya jealous??? (I am!)

Sooo, while I expected something like that, I was curious, and how could I know what it looked like until I went there. It proves what I've been saying for years.: "Yes, Virginia, there is such a thing as a stupid question."

It sure looks worthless to me,but thats what they paid him to do.I'm kinda thinking Deere is out of touch not Foose.

JD is not my brand. but i do like all brands of tractors. i seen the before pics and thought now that's a tractor i could use. it looks more like a hot rod lawn mower now. just needs a belly mount finish mower.

It's not bad , it now has some style and flowing body lines.

Open your minds to change. I'm not a Deere guy at all and have always thought them to be a bit ugly.

He has thrown a little hot rod in with a tractor "nice" .

John Deere isn't stupid "marketing" Foose tractor toys , shirts etc etc.

This is just the start of things to come.

Not to be sacrilegious, but the gentleman kinda reminds me of the scientist who had broken the human body into all its billions of component parts and knew that he could start from scratch and build a man. He called the Lord and said, "Lord, I'm as good as you; I can now build a human being." The Lord said, "Maybe........, let's see." So the fellow bent down and started gathering some soil and some twigs and some grass. The Lord said, "Wait a minute, that's my soil and my twigs and my grass; you're gonna need to get your own."

He may have ruined it but i shur would like to win it. it will be one of a kind and maybe sell for $100000.00 or more

Hi thurlow: That's a good story... and right on about who owns every little bit of this earth.. I've been interested in how this earth was created for many years and finally there are some good cable shows on this topic. 4 plus billion years old since day one... and still counting. ag

Nothing wrong with cars, trucks, and tractors as art and fun customs. Just wished he started with a non-restored one.

At the least, I hope it gets a turbo.

What page is it on over there? I'm not seeing it. If that picture tlak posted is it,good thing I'm not some kinda hippie or something. I'd have to ask somebody to hold my hair while I puke.

If they would have put a cab/heat/air i would just drive it around like a car. Ag plates

Looks like everything shrunk by half except for the seat.
A drawing on paper is one thing, but the physical mechanics of the real tractor won't allow those changes.
What he drew on paper doesn't look like anything more than a lawn tractor with a 4020 hood nose on it.
I'll reserve any other comments until I see the real deal.

We understand the concerns we’re hearing from the people who love our classic tractors, and we deeply appreciate the loyal following we have on machines like the 4020. We chose a 4020 for this project because of the special place it holds in John Deere history. It truly is a classic, and we’re honored that people collect and restore them. Chip Foose is equally aware and appreciative of the 4020’s heritage.

Although it looks great in the videos, this particular tractor was not restored when we started the project. It needed extensive mechanical repairs before Chip could start work, including replacing the entire fuel system, clutch assembly, and most of the lines and hoses in the tractor. The tech doing the work guessed that it had been 40 years since the tractor had any major service or repairs done.

We’d also like to invite everyone to get an in-person look at this tractor after it’s completed. It will be unveiled at the Commodity Classic in Anaheim, CA in March, and then it will travel through the country as part of the Drive Green Caravan. As much as we like Chip’s rendering, we think the finished product will look even better.

Thanks for sharing your opinions. They are all appreciated.
