I have a 44 Ford 2n i restored it a year ago when it was parked for the restore the 3 point worked fine but now that it has been restored the 3 point won"t lift. any ideas??

Restore and 3 point not work then you did not do a true restore. Sorry pet pev thing.
So do you have the PTO engaged?? Is the clutch pedal up?? Is the sump full of the correct oil?? If you answer yes to all these then you need to pull the cover off the right side the one with the dip stick and with it running and PTO in gear and the lift lever up look in side for oil movement. If you see a good bit of oil moving then you have a problem in that area and it could be a number of things which by the way if you have the I-T manual it explains it

Just a idea, because I don't know how cold it is and where your tractor is setting.Like Leland said on the oil 80-90 gear oil,if it is really cold out, then those tractors hyd.were very SLOW SLOW until you got the oil warmed some.Plus this was on new 2Ns and your talking 60+ yrs.wear now.Give it a chance to maybe warm up and then see and make sure the PTO is running.Good luck.

Is the oil for the 3 point pump a separate reservoir that i could have drained and not realized if so where is the fill and check for this? Im a farmall man so i don't know much about fords.
