Jubilee Front blade update

I'm from Terre Haute, In. The one I found was in Flint, Mi. and they were selling the blade and tractor together. Can't find the one in Milwaukee. At least I know there are front blade for Jubilees. Thanks for looking.

To bad your so far from me. With some good pictures of one and a little time I could build one form all the scrap iron I keep around. A number of years ago Rod from NH sent me some pictures of a factory front lift for an Allis B and I used his pictures and built a copy of it. When I got done the one I built could do more then the factory one could because I gave it the option of being made longer or shorter with more and less lift to it

(quoted from post at 16:51:54 02/07/10) Think I have one out back

That's a big thing I miss about being over here....... I have that "better to have and not need, than need and not have" attitude and it's just not that common here. Places aren't that big and cludder easy and all you have to do is set your "scrap" (translates to anything you don't need at the moment) on the street in frt of the house.

You know I do not know what kind of lift system that you have on you tractor now but I bought a blade from a friend of mine that came off of a ditch witch.
I mounted it my lift system that I built for my wifes farmal cub and it worked great. that is 5' wide and it would not be to heavy for your front end on your
tractor: check it out; GOOD LUCK
JR.

Dave guess you better never come see me because if you did you might think you had died and gone to scrap iron heaven. LOL
Oh by the way since your in the old county do you or have you ever heard of the names Schutte, Marg, or Bittner???

Schutte and Bittner in my town. Marg, I haven't heard of. I have a small pasture rented from a Bittner.

most around me use a western or meyers snow plow from a truck all kinds of them cheep. had on on a to-20 on the front and was a cable lift off the three point hitch

Oh so you may rent for one of my long lost relatives then. Bittner was my dads moms name before she got married and Schutte is my moms name before she married my dad. Marg is my last name. I was told years ago we still had family in the old county but no one knew how to find them

Old I wonder if you could build a front blade from a 3pt . modifying it for front of tractor. "using a winch to lift it or hyd ". Just a though. Would have to build frame to mount it on, but that shouldn't be to hard. But then again I have junk like you . lol don't like my junk . says she is going to clean out some time but when she does I may leave to.

George, my brother made a front mounted blade for his 2N. It is hydraulicly lifted, using a power steering pump. I think the blade was originally made for a Gravely walk behind tractor. I believe he's added wings to make it clean out the tracks. He kinda copied the framework idea from an Ohio state snow plow truck. He lives in northern Ohio and gets some big snows occasionally. If I could figger out how to post pics. . .

I have a friend/partner that is always coming up with things for me to build. He has this Swinger 2000 articulating loader thing that I built a mount for a 3 point post driver for. It works very good and the nice thing is with the way the machine works you can move side to side and not go forward or back wrad any. Big problem was that I built it and then he sadi hey can you come over and help me put up a fence. I spent 5 or 6 hours running the machine I had just built for him LOL

Dear Old,

I know of the Swinger loader you talk about it is articular steering, and that is a good one to put a post hole driller on! as you said turn a little and one can guid it over a little or not instead of backing up and all that...

I presently have a "Ramrod" it is a skid steer 4 wheel drive "stand on only" small compact unit, powered by a two cylinder Briggs, V-twin horziontal shaft engine with electric start and I made a post hole drill from a small Char Lynn hydraulic motor, very small hard to believe it drills 12 inch diameter holes 4 foot deep, any deeper and I need the home made "extension" that I made out of Black pipe but of course the deeper one goes the tuffer it is!

Anyway I am now building it to use a bigger hydraulic motor, I luv working with steel when building projects!

btw I know how everyone luvs pics, so if this rain ever stops I will take a pic of it and post it,sure am tired of all this rain here in Dallas,Texas
