i bought a used kawasaki mule a while back.the hudraulic pump and reservoir is one unit powered by 12-volts.so i by a new pump/reservoir for around $300.00.well i find out rhe main hot feed wire goes to a couple relays that are fixed to one block that mounts behind the seat just under the back window.it also is bad looks like its been hot .where the relays plud into the block everything is kinda melted together.well now they tell me it is no longer available cant get it at all.what do relays actually do anyway the hot wre goes threw them and onto the pump.the dealer said if i knew a someone with alot of electrical knowledge they might be able to rig something up that might work in place of the relays anyone got any ideas. thanks RICK

Would id be similar to the electric pump and solenoids used for a pickup truck snowplow lift?

Might check into how those "get the job done".
