Anybody Need A Warm Picture?

I"ve had about enough winter, so I was flipping through some pics from last year, and thought I would share one of my favorites. This warms me up a little, but it hasn"t done a thing for my frozen cattle waterer!!! Remember only 51 days until spring is here! Have a great day

Great picture love them old threshing machines.I'm suppose to go get a Case thresher ,but that was last fall don't know if its still there. Thanks again for the nice photo stay warm.Blaine

At first glance I thought that to be a baler too . but balers dont have grain chutes on then-- I need to go to more antique shows--- never saw one that small
Thanks for the pic

MAN where's OSHA open belts all over the place people being force to work right beside them. No wonder our Grandparents were such a mess by the time they were our age.
Great machine we have a larger one at our show they run it twice every day run about 4 acres of wheat though it and then bale the straw with an old stationary baler.

Hey got a question what's the reason for the grain discharge to be feeding right back into the feed chute.

I believe that they are a pair of 4020's-This photo was taken here on our farm during our fall show, so to be honest with you there is so much iron here that day, I can't keep track!!

I notice you said this is one of your favorites... looks like the tag on the side of the thresher says "Favorite"?

I used to take my Uncle John McCall to the New Centerville, PA., Farmers and Threshermens Jubilee, once in a while. He'd get a real charge out of standing up there, feeding the sheaves into the machine. And, talking to other old timers who went there.
When i was a kid, we always called those machines "Thrashers". Or: "Thrashing machines". Heck, everybody called them that.
