Maybe some computer jock can tell me what my computer is lacking- instead of the video, I get a blank video screen with a little square in the upper left corner that has a red square, green circle and blue triangle in it.

Here's a link, don't know about your computer. I had those symptoms but since upgraded to a new computer and faster speed internet.
Son just put a new video card in an old computer 80 bucks and said it was like the difference between nite and day. He said video was using some of the computer memory and the card has more on board memory so it was freeing up some on the computer.

You may need to download adobe flash. that the most common video player for youtube, Flash is up to 10.1 and its a freedownload from adobe.

Hope this helps.

If you have a slow speed you will see what your talking about on your screen until enough is buffered.
