Manual Booklet Question

Probably a dumb question but here" goes, is there a difference between the standard operator"s manual that comes with a piece of equipment and a "Blue ribbon service" manual? I have the standard operator"s manual for an old baler and I don"t know if I"m wasting my money buying the Blue Ribbon Service manual. Can anyone answer that one for me?

I have a Blue Ribbon Service Training Course,
Servicemans guide. I don't have an IH op manual
to compare but seems this may have what operator
manuals have plus a little deeper service such
as the gearcase. The one I looked at is a 50T.

As with your motor car, the operators manual tells you how to OPERATE the machinery,
The other one tells how to SERVICE the equipment.
Thats my guess.
