The Yesterdays Tractor Forum does beat the heck out of Am Talk radio , been hear since 2003 , Its a great education , lotsa fun , entertaing watching some of these posts get TOOdam Hot til it burns the poofmonster ,.. You know what would be neat????,, and probably possible ?... what if a fellow could have his computor set up to speak /read Narrate each post as it came In , with narration stating title listing / and in Response to SoandSowe, and so forth , or STATE: New posting Concerning starter on JDeere B , and so forth , that way a guy could be listening in, Greasing wheel bearings and the like in his shop , and would be able to get more things done ... Guess I am JustDreaming , But I wonder if the Idea is practical ? ,, I wouldn't mind being a narrator ...LOL
 
Poke around the web a little. There is software out there intended for visually impaired people that can read the computer screen aloud. Might be just what you want.

Well,the getting more things done idea is great. I spend WAY too much time here. Time that I really should be doing things in the real world.
A whole lot more common sense here than on talk radio though. Trouble is,it would just draw the talk radio crowd and outsiders would overwhelm those of us who have all the answers to the worlds problems.
 
The problem would be that You could never narate fast enough. With the amounts of posts per hour per topic....you could never keep up. Now if you had diffrent channels per forum like john deere etc... then yea it could work...but would you go back and re read all the posts in a topic when your narate a responce
