I don't mind OT posts. Talk about your well water, your Dodge Dart heater problems, the Wisconsin Dells, The Firth of Fourth, county zoning laws or the Kasserine Pass. Talk about your Chevy 6.0 or DuraMax.
Heck, You can talk about race, talk about religion, talk about politics, and for all I care talk about your girlfriend's gynecological issues.
But there are a thousand other venues for talking about your stupid Sports games. So Please refrain from talking about them here.
Our innattention to the issues of country, family, reliion and community are largely due to Sports.
This site is a small haven in a virtual Storm of Sports. And I aim to keep it that way.

It is spelled Favre but is pronounced Farv.

He is from the deep south (by New Orleans) and we have our own way of talking down here.

When I learned to debate if you had to resort to personal attacks or name calling it was pretty much an indicator that you had run out of ideas and were losing the argument.
