government auction

At gsaauction.gov they have, in the Agriculture Equipment and Supplies, 4 interesting pieces of "Harvesting Equipment" for sale in SC. They also have a "Soil Destroyer" in ID, no picture though.

Say, with a little tweaking of the url I found the site and looked at the machines. They are really interesting. Sure would like to have one for my small acreage.

Upon further searching for crop binders I found that others are still being made. Some other interesting items as well on the products pages.

Thanks for posting the link for the auction which informed me of the modern day counterpart of the McCormick-Deering binder.
GSA auctions.

I was thinking land mines. My guess is the guy at the local surplus office didn't have a farm background, or they do really different things in SC.

(quoted from post at 00:15:50 01/17/10) check out the 20,000 + fema trailers in one lot .

Yeah, then check out the condition that most of them are in. Disgusting how people treat things that are GIVEN to them to help them out.
