fly bait and skunks

I wouldn't think so. They are relate to cats and they won't touch the stuff. Works great for coons though. Mix just enough to make it fluid.

Cats will to consume mountain dew and golden link_disallowed fly bait. If you really want to wipe out critters put some counter insecticide in with mountain dew. animals wont get 10 feet from it.

A 22 is the only thing I have found to work on a groundhog.I sure havent had any luck with traps or anything else,Wish someone would let me know the secret. I use flybait but never have had any dogs or cats get into it. The only thing I have ever found that likes it is coons

for groundhogs, i use the bridger body traps. set them over the hole and stake em down real good. the hog sticks his head thru, no more ground hog. you gotta stake the traps so something doesnt run off with the carcass.

Take the wrappers off of Double Bubble bubble gun and lay them out for your groundhogs. Keep putting out bubble gum until it no longer disappears. By then you should have no more groundhogs. I got this tip from this forum; it really works.

Never heard of a cat drinking the solution, but could be a first time for everything I guess.

Mix 1 can pop, and a handfull of golden goddies. Skunks, opossem, and especialy coon will drink their last time. Never have I found one over fourty five feet awqay from the drink, and often with their heads almost in the drink.

I know of several farmers that the cats sit next to the mixture, 24 / 7.

I have heard of making a paste ball--little pop, lots of golden nuggets, however I never tried that myself.

The groundhogs around my place have hole where I cant get to them.but i will try the bubble gum trick, thanks,

We always used Busch beer and the fly bait. Never had a cat die from it (drink it I should say). I would not try it if you have dogs running around. I know of several dogs that LOVE beer, would not be a good thing.

We put it out for coon, but we've gotten skunks, opossums, and of course lots of coons. We ussually get 1 skunk each year in our sweet corn patch, whcih we keep in the middle of a regular corn field.

Last year the skunk wasn't found until wewere chopping corn, and it was still relatively whole. I didn't run it over with the tractor, but the wagon tire got it. It blew up and hit the chopper and covered the bottom of the wagon. Wasn't pretty, but thankfully we were almost done.
