Want to put a power beyond valve and a joystick on my 806 for the loader. Where is a good source for this stuff, and what requirements should I look for? Some of the joysticks I have seen are rated by gallons per min. In your opinions what should I have for a minimum. Also thinking about swithing hydraulic pump and relief valve to gain some speed as this is also my planting tractor. I will take the loader off for field work. I posted on the IH board and didn't get much response. Thanks in advance you guys are a great help it is very interesting on what gets posted here.

Going to post pictures of the 706 hydraulic system we used. Used a Joy Stick loader valve from Burden surplus center. Works great for us. No slow lifting on the 706. plugs into 1 remote on the left front side. Hope this helps. Didn't have to go with a power beyond Wasn't any need to split hyd lines.

Thanks for the pics. that is one clean tractor. The joystick must be of a cable controled type? I could do that but I have two remotes on the rear, none up front. Do you remember what the valve cost? I will try to look for Burden surplus on the web. Thanks again.

Tjiniowa. It"s a 2 spool 29 gpm joy stick control valve. The price was $309.95 Item# 9-7725-55, the cable lengths vary from 35 to 55 to78".We used the 55". Hoses we had made up locally. Mounting plate we made. The cost of runing the hydraulic lines up to the valve would be from the rear of your tractor to the location of where you place the valve body. The easist way is to place the valve close to the loader cylinders, then run the 2 ( one pressure, one return) from the rear of the tractor to the valve. That way you only have two long hoses. The hydraulics which run rhe cylinders are closer to the valve body. WIll show you pictures of our location. We were fortunate to have Hydraulic ports on each side and in the rear. The hook up is simple for the valve to cylinder operation ie.ports on the valve goes as follows. A1 & B1 controls arm lift and lower. A2 and B2 controls the bucket tip and roll back. Float is automatic with the joy stick. AS far as the clean appearence, we do use the tractor (not for farming) but to get winters supply of wood 10 cord + for heating house and shop. Easy to clean up after using. Hope this helps. LOU.
