I have a 1999 F-250 the idle pulses. it shows no codes and i already changed the idle positioning sensor. anything i"m missing? its only a couple of hundred rpms but at a stop it feels like your getting pushed. and its annoying.thanks for any and all suggestions.

I had a prob like that with a 2000 4.0L V-6 and it was the Idle Air Control valve, seemed to be a Ford prob. Mine was replaced under warranty. Is that the one you replaced? Also had a 1991 F-150 that had a jump in RPM, it was the Air Horn(intake) gasket allowing a vacuum leak. It was a manual so no push. I never got a code on either one. Good Luck with it.

I have a 2003 F-150 that was doing that going down the road, not at idle, took it in and they gave me a list of things that could be wrong with it, took it to an independant garage not a ford garage and they fixed it for less than half of what ford wanted to charge just for changing the plugs, and that was in the package. They changed my plugs and flushed my fuel injectors. cured mine might be on the same line as to what is wrong with yours. They also said that it might b the mass air flow sensor thing, but lucky enough that was not the prob. Gool luck. Bob
