OT Window Track

Hey People, I have a problem that I haven't seen mentioned on here before. My wife's 2004 Venture Van has an electric window that is starting to drag or slow down as it is being raised. Is there something that I could put in the track to lubricate it without it getting "sticky" later on. I know she puts that window up and down several times a day and I don"t want to end-up replacing a motor, I hate working on vehicle doors. Any and all help is much appreciated.

Try a light squirt of WD-40, down each vertical slot. Won't hurt it-might help. When i worked in auto body shops, etc. we used that stuff a lot. I need to do that on my Buick, but it'll have to wait for warmer weather-don't need the windows down right now, at least not here in Pa.!
Next summer, you can take the door panel off, if you know the tricks!

I use spray silicone. I put lots on the window tracks where the window goes up and down. I have had very good success over the years.
Hope this helps.

Thanks for all the suggestions. For now, I will try the silicone. I have both that and WD40. I was afraid that the motor might be the problem. If I can make it to warm weather, that would make it so much better.

When I worked in the truck shop, we had a guy that swore by furniture polish. He usually got a can of the cheapest spray polish and sprayed the track.
