I kind of figured he wouldn't be able to find out more until this coming week. I hope he found a UDLX. I wish I could find one, preferably one stored in a climate controlled barn for the last 60 years.

i too am waiting to see if it was for real i seriously doubt a real udlx is parked somewhere for years and nobody knows about it maybe a r model with a cab

This all brings back memories of the $10 Army surplus jeeps and motorcycles that we used to hear about when I was in High School. I'm still waiting for'em.

some of the surplus stories are true...my Dad bought a new Ford made 1944 Army jeep & trailer in a shipping crate in 1958 for $500...I purchased a Colt 1911 .45 auto for $12.50...a .30cal. carbine made by Inland for $17.50 & a M1 Garand for $126.00 all through the CMP as a NRA Life member...take care ...Kent
