Found a Minn. Moline in thicket behind a old house. Not sure of the model but will get pics tomorrow. It is complete and stack is covered. Any suggestions on what I should offer the owner? Thanks

will do! I have lived here for five years and never noticed it till last week. The old farm house burned and I saw it out back in the thicket. Ready to check it out tomorrow.

Sorry but that is one that is to far open to have a clue. Could be a very common one and be worth maybe $200 or so or could be one of the less common ones like the UDLX and be worth $100,000 or more. You need a lot more info to have a clue as to what it is worth

Probably one of them that the owner lives 5 states away and is going to restore. He is 88 years old and been going to do this since 1960!!!!

I know of an old fella, over 80, that has a cab
over engine Diamond T flatbead truck behind the
barn. 6 cyl Hercules engine runs like a clock.
All it needs is a new wooden bed, and when that's
done he's going to put it on E-Bay, with a start-
ing bid of $30,000.He's been going to put that
bed on for 7 years now, and won't sell to me.
(I offered $3000)Maybe i'll get a chance at the
Auction after he pass'es away.

Depends on what it is. A Z ain't gonna be worth as much as a G1355. I know where there's one of those by the way. Cab and all. Been sitting in the same place out back of some other equipment for sevearal years now. Keep saying I'm gonna stop. The wife says "no you won't,you'll wait til it's gone then say you should have stopped".

I'd offer $650, then let him talk me up to, say, $775, but not a penny more.

Your results may vary, some assembly required.

First off I am assuming it is a letter series tractor. Newer ones with modern hydrualics might have a little more value.

I paid $100. for my first MM. A UTU LP. Keep in mind the tires are worth more than the tractor in most cases of a old stuck tractor sitting in a fencerow.

If the tractor looks like a neighborhood eyesore, you can start that low. Odds are ,for me atleast, the owners won"t sell it claiming sentimental value or claiming that they are going to restore it some day. While they wait to [not] restore it they will let it sit on flat tires for years until the perfectly usable tires are rotted off.

If you can approach them telling them how you will restore this tractor and they can come visit it when it is done sometimes the owners will realize that they will never get it restored and sell it.

Short answer: If tires are bad, start really low.

I am a founding member for my local chapter of PETT. People for the Ethical Treatment of Tactors. We do need to find a home for all these old ones sitting if the bushes.

Good luck. Hope you get it.

I guess it all depends on what a man wants, and what his bank account holds. If I ever get even a small chance ( like a mentaly retarded buyer) then I am going to get my money back on the 335 with loader, that I bought 2 years ago, and NEVER buy another MM. It is kind of pacifing to walk out in the lot, and fire it up, and run the loader up& down, and sit on the seat and move it 5 feet foreward and back. But I have given up on ever finding steering components, available.

Bought a ZB at an auction for 550.00 had good tires and pretty complete but did not run. have it completly restored have about 2500.00 in it but it is nice
