I'VE GOT A 63 PETROL DEXTA , GEARBOX CLUTCH WON'T ENGAGE. I'VE TRIED ADJUSTING LINKAGES BUT STILL WONT GO INTO GEAR, PTO CLUTCH WORKS [WHEN PTO IS ENGAGED PUSH CLUTCH DOWN & PTO WILL STOP TURNING]IT WAS WORKING ABOUT 8 WEEKS AGO FIRED IT UP YESTERDAY & THE BLOODY THING WON'T SELECT A GEAR. WILL I HAVE TO SPLIT HER & IF SO WHERE DO I SPLIT HER FROM. ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT. REGARDS GRANT. MACCLESFIELD / MELBOURNE / AUSTRALIA.

Sounds like your clutch disc may be rusted to the flywheel. Any access to the clutch from the bottom of the tractor where you might get a flat tool in there to pop the disc loose while the clutch pedal is tied / blocked in the released position ?
Also works to rock the tractor in gear with the clutch pedal in the released position.

Also if you can you get it started while in one of the higher gears and drive it around a while with the clutch pedal in the released position, the torque / vibration may free up the clutch disc.

yeah, your clutch disc is stuck...starting it in gear and driving it with clutch pedal depressed is simplest solution...i got a '62 Ford 2000 that does that occasionally.
btw,its the splines that rust on the trans input shaft that causes the sticking.
