Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas as we did with my immediate family and both sides of the family!
One that's going to be locked into my small noggin however is the fun we had today after a bit of snow in central Illinois.

wow, she's pretty, you're gonna need a shotgun to keep the boys away!!
when we were young and stupid, we bolted a bench seat from a 71 nova backwards on the deck lid for an old 98 convertible and pulled it with a snowmobile. jeez when they'd "crack the whip" that thing would really send you flying!!!!! now-a-days being a menber of the "over 50 crowd" i generally try and avoid hobbies that i can get hurt bad on. i crash and burn enough just trying to get thru the day!!!

Yeah glennster,
Now that you mention that I seem to remember riding on or pulling a bunch on an old car hood behind somebody's Dad's pickup back in the late 60's.
I take it a lot easier with my daughter tho, cause she's just a "TOMBOY" (for now)!

i have only one child, daughter who just turned 16. SWMBO says i'm way to over protective of her. wife doesnt under stand i was a kid once too!!!!

Jim, just what is that lovely girl sitting on, a Jo..Joh...Joh..John Deere? Surely it isn't YOURS? SAY IT AIN"T SO!!

Sorry Jim:
Yyyeeeppp, I do have a "little" closet tractor that does most of the work around here while the Olivers are all for fun and/or frustration! Please don't tell too many.

Jim

Dad used to make a "skid" in the winter, to feed hay off of when it snowed- couple of peeled fir poles, with a deck on top, maybe 6' by 10' or so. One winter we got a lot of snow, so he put some haybales on it and towed it with the 8N, picked up neighbors along the way, turned into a community event. Just good, clean country fun.
