Got out to the farm yesterday to feed critters just before this blizzard hit.

0 degrees with a 40 knot wind.

You were right. That derned 303 oil took a good 15 minutes to really get warmed up and move right.

Think I'm gonna change it out........when I can see the ground again, that is. :>)

Allen,

Now the 580 B will move in 5 or 10

seconds instead of 15 minutes . Took out the

303 oil and replaced it with low viscousity

trans oil .

This tractor always moved quickly till I

changed the oil when I did the ring and pinion.

That was the only change made in the power

shift system, with the change back to thin

oil , it is back to normal.
