posting pics

If you're using one of the free photo services such as photobucket or tinypic.com they're easy to post. Put your picture image url's in the "Optional Image URL" space. If you have more than one just use a comma to separate them as shown in this sample: Hal
PS: They will post easier if you keep the picture size in the 480 X 640 pixel range.

We can not see things on your computer. Think about it ...... if we could see pictures on your computer we could see everything.

You need to upload your picture to the internet and then give us the location using what is called the URL address.

You can go to the address below.....
<a href="http://www.rieckesbaysidegallery.com/ProgramFiles/talers/menu.cfm">Picture posting site</a>
and follow the instructions to upload your picture to that site.

Once you have done that it will give you the URL address of your picture. Get that address and come back here and put the URL address into the Optional Image URL box at the bottom of your post. We can then see your picture when we look at your post.

l Toro, is your instructions for posting more than one picture using the classic view? How do you post more than one picture if using the modern view? David.................

Below the box where you type there is a link marked 'upload photo'
It works for me, but all computers are different.

I suggest you set up an account with Photobucket. It's then a simple matter to add a link in your message to an image in photobucket. In fact, if you want to add multiple pics photobucket will tell you the html strings that you can just paste into your message.

Yes, you can post directly from your computer, and it's very easy to do. At the bottom of the message posting page, click on "upload photo". In the box that comes up, click "browse". Your picture locations will come up. Find your picture and double click on it. The location will fill the box, then click "upload". When it's done loading, send the message like you normally do, and it will include the picture. That's all there is to it.

Seems like posting pictures is the topic of the day!
Hope you and your family had a Merry Christmas.

Any "new" tractors recieved from Santa?

Jim- Hope your Christmas went well also. We made the normal rounds through Delavan and Hartsburg- all the family is well, and hope yours is also.

About that tractor thing- Wife's nephew had an "H" (red) that his better half wanted removed from the garage, he needed a toolbox, so last weekend I became the proud owner of a tractor I have no need or room for. Don't know what I'm gonna do with it, but the trade was made, and here we are. I need more sheds or less tractors.
