OT need weather report for Kansas and Oklahoma

Heading from NW Co to East Texas via Medicine Lodge, Ks. hope to leave home 5 am Sunday morning if weather improves will be pulling Gooseneck Trailer. Weather updates needed.

Hey Bill,
Whenever I need a weather report, I look up AccuWeather (use google if necessary)... just type in a city and state (or a zip code) and get instant weather, up to and including a 15 day forecast. I've found them to be very reliable ...D

If you call 511 in most western states that will give you a fairly up to date weather report as you go. Or if you go to most states web site it will have a weather link for travel, CO and ID have excellent weather info on their sites.

I'm NE of Medicine Lodge and we received only wind. Don't know about ML as the further south you go the worse it got. I'm only 35 miles from Wichita and the KDOT web came shows they had snow.

Oklahoma City got pounded with their largest storm ever----14 inches of snow pushed by strong winds. Most Interstates were closed overnight but check to see if they are now open. My niece could not make it home from work there in OKC and had to spend the night in a motel which she had a terrible time getting to.

OK will be your problem area.
