OT Christmas Gift

SWMBO just got a 17 cu ft refrigerator. That's purdy big, physically and financially.

Hadn't really PLANNED to give her a fridge for Christmas, but she let all the smoke out of the old one yesterday...
 
I'd have to say some shiny bobbles.Used to get her those items every year.She has enough now IMHO.

Horse trailer a couple of years ago.
Does new washer and drier as well as new living room furniture this fall count? May not have to go shopping tomorrow!

Well, I bought a diamond engagement ring and gave it to her for Christmas 43 years ago. We have often bought things for the house and gave it to each other as gifts..maybe new furniture or a new TV or such, this year we decided to cut back on gifts and give each other a winter vacation in Naples Florida. Two weeks in March will help whittle the winter down to a waiting game for warm weather here and the cottage to reopen.
 
Got a call from the gun shop this afternoon to come pick up her 308 Marlin Express tomorrow. She will be happy with that.

Im on my 3rd wife.24yrs and counting.First two wifes,never bought any rings,never paid any divorce fees,or child support(I raised the boys).
3yrs ago bought my wife a set of rings,figured it was about time.I didnt go cheap neither.How do they say it "he went to Jareds".Well anyways, Ive never in my life seen anybody react to a gift like my wife did.To this day I cant get over the gleem in her eye when she looks at those rings.
 
The greatest gift my wife and I gave to each is our first born son 12/25/84. Couldn't have asked for anything better.
