I paid Sam Adams for some tractor parts last year that he was going to place on a pallet and I would arrange the shipping. I have tried to E-Mail him and call him about the status of the shipment and he will not respond.

Can anyone help?

Sam is good by his word. I"ve known him and done business with him for many years. This is his business and I"m sure he wouldn"t do anything that might hinder a sale or trade. Please give Sam a chance, there might just be a misunderstanding.

hmmm i wonder if sam adams will work as tractor antifreeze? hopps, barley and alcohol, beer wont freeze will it? hmm, antifreeze with stopleak built in

In my college days, I drank Miller in clear bottles. I was standing out on the sidewalk drinkin' beer with my neighbor one day when it was about -15F. One of the football players was a feller from Alabama, lived half a block south of us. He went by all bundled up against the cold, so we offered him a beer. He allowed as how all of us North Dakotans were crazy. Great thing about drinkin' beer at -15F is that it doesn't get warm in your hand. Bad thing is that you get a coating of beer ice on the inside of the bottle, so you don't get to drink the whole thing.

Sam bought some pieces of farm machinery from my grandfather back when YT still had on-line auctions. He paid promptly and had the shipper there just as promised. He was also a very nice gentleman to converse with. He even sent a follow up letter to grandpa telling how pleased he was with the machinery once he got it. As said, hopefully this is just a misunderstanding and it will all work out. Good Luck!

For sure beer freezes, especially in southern Ontario in the middle of winter, however, if you bury it deep enough in the snow it won't..most Canuckies use their back porch/patio to chill beer, especially when entertaining.

Jeez did I get sucked in on this post: I thought we were going to see an enlightening post on the qualities of Sam Adams Beer. I just picked up an 8 pack of Sam Adams Lite Beer for my friend who is coming for Christmas Eve supper tomorrow. Laugh on me. Any ways, all you Tractor people,Have a Merry Christmas and a very Happy 2010 from us warm weather lovers near Wickenburg Arizona.

I live about 10 miles from Sam. Send me an email and if you have not heard from him after Christmas I will stop by and check on him for you. Have had several dealings with him and would be really surprised if he was trying to stiff you. Glad to help if I can. Peavy

Sam Adams is the mayor of Portland, Oregon. Some think he is a rather shady guy. But that is politics speaking.
