nut Case

Here is the question-- What is a SC Case worth that has never been run? Stored since new, actually has price tag hanging on the steering wheel. Paint is weathered a little and tires have checked from dry rot but aren't terrible. The engine may be stuck but don't know for a fact. I was allowed to see the tractor but nothing more. Also new unassembled Case implements, same vintage, same story. Never seen anything like it. I would appreciate any input. Thanks.

Tough to say.All the seals are probably dried out as they ran it at one point early in it's life and not since.Someone will have a better answer for you.

The part about the price tag hanging on the wheel seems curious - no chance the whole thing is some kind of fake nos??

triple the average going rate on everything ,,my gut instinct says to me .,personally i would pass and let someone put them in a museum , because i would put them to work ,,I know where a extra nice 72 Ford 2 Door Brougham ,less than 10,000 miles on a 429/4V,. the Lady turned down 15 GRAND ...

Thanks for the comments guys. I know it sounds like an urban legend but the provenance is all there. The roofs were bad so nothing is pristine but is all nos from a retired dealership. A lot of it is going to be weighed up for scrap.

Sorry I can't be very specific at this time. The owner is a very private person and my friend who got the job of cleaning everything up would probably get kicked off the job if too many people begin showing up. It is going to take months to get everything cleaned up but I'm going to try to save what I can from the scrap yard. Honestly, I think that they should have had a sale but they want it cleaned up as quietly and privately as possible. Stay tuned.

Just my opinion, but get some trusted friends if needed and save all you can. Nobody will get much use out of whatever they make from the scrapped iron.

Well,if you could get Sherry to tell you what she paid for that 1550 Oliver with 47 actual hours, you'd have a better idea.

Initially I had no interest in getting involved but after seeing everything firsthand it would be a shame to see the good stuff go to scrap, so, if I can do anything about it we'll save the good stuff and give all you Case guys a chance at it later.
