I enjoyed your guitar pickin post a few days back. I wanted you to see where the musical talent went in my family so included a link my son just sent me (an out take) from his recent recording session at Sun Studio in Memphis. He has a ton of guitars but wanted to use a vintage Kay and Harmony for the new CD he's working on. Around twenty years ago when he was like 11 I taught him a few chords (House of the Rising Sun) on the guitar and in six month he blew my doors off so I put my guitar away grrrrrrrrrrrrrr Heres his My Space web site also:

Way cool, John. Is he part of the local club scene? There're lots of places in Memphis with live music, but I'm too old to get out of the house after sundown. I'm 'bout 50 miles North and was in Memphis yestirdy to pick up a Christmas present at (I hate to admit it) Harbor Freight.

He has a regular "day job" gig playing 4 days/nights at the Superior Bar on Beale Street in Memphis, and then plays other places once or twice a week. His My Space Web Site lists his Gigs if youre ever in the area.
