OT: Bedding chopper

I have a Agri-Metal small square bale bedding chopper, made in Canada, Rue Princapal!! I bought it used for $70.00, I wanted something with a crap engine and I found this at a auction. 13 HP honda was shot, so I put it in the garbage were all Hondas belong. Put on the free 8hp I/C Briggs I picked up from a place I worked at. The chopper works fine, but Id like to replace the knives. I have Herschel- Adams sections on hand for my 489 haybine, will they fit in the chopper? The dealer told me they were a different bolt pattern, so I should buy a whole new knife assembly, comes with 72 knives I think $$?! Anyway what would be the best way to replace some of the knives? I guess remove the tub, and try to unbolt some of the knives? Or pull the whole shaft out? Has anyone had to do this?
Looks like the Mexicans dident cut all the twine off the bales either, as there is alot wraped around the shaft.

Remove the tub, and unbolt sections, the bale chopper I have I got by with used NH or JD sections, just drilled out holes to 1/4" and sharpened the cutting edge. Put back in using 1/4" bolts and locknuts.
